Ally's Birthday

An empty bed.

A year ago today you came
A beam of sunshine in the rain
My bursting heart could just withstand
The rush of love as you held my hand

You did so well, the Drs said
But then you left. An empty bed
We love you more then words can say
Forever beside me. Happy 1st Birthday

  11. Hi Heidi, I've been watching your amazing story and I want to thank you for sharing it with the rest of the world. I've always been afraid of death, since I was a child and I'm 20 yo now (yeah, still too young). I'm always scared for my family, the only idea of loosing my love ones is too scary, but watching your story makes me feel a little less terrified. I mean, you've went through all those horrible things and you're still alive and joyfull, you're still yourself. It makes me realize that we all have that little sparkle (I don't know how to call it) inside us to live life as it comes.

Thank you so much, Heidi. I'll always remember you and Ally.

    Greetings and love from Venezuela.
